Sustainability? It’s in our nature

At Hochfeldhof, we live in harmony with nature!

We believe in fostering connections – between people and animals, but most importantly, with nature. To ensure this bond lasts for generations, we prioritise sustainability in every aspect of our operations: on the farm, in the garden, and in our daily practices. Curious about how we do it? We are happy to tell you all about it.

Farm products

We produce a wide range of top-quality products on our farm.

Our Kaminwurzen (smoke-cured sausages) are made from the meat of our fallow deer and the prime beef comes from our suckler cow herd. Our animals enjoy about half the year grazing freely on pasture or mountain fields, and the rest of the time in generous stables. Plus, they’re only fed the best feed from our own production.

Our breakfast eggs come straight from our own free-range hens, who roam outdoors year-round and only head to the barn at night. And that freedom? Well, it definitely adds to the delicious taste of our eggs! Any extra eggs we have are carefully distributed to selected local eateries and private customers in our surroundings. Our jams are made from the fresh fruits harvested with love in our garden.

Best of all, all our guests have the opportunity to buy our farm specialities.
